Saturday, June 9th, 3:00 p.m.

This year (our 25th year) we are having a special June meeting to celebrate on Saturday June 9 at Becky Ross's home (9200 Brink Rd. Gaithersburg, MD). Come by at 3pm to play some tunes, look over silent auction items, some history/photo displays and maybe more. The potluck will start around 4:30pm (we will have a grill ready if you want to bring something to grill for yourself). We will have some announcements/remarks after dinner, the results of the silent auction, and then on to playing more tunes! While there won't be a formal workshop, we hope to have two jams; a regular jam and a slow or "with music" jam as well. If you have items to donate for the silent auction, or some photos (or laptop slideshow) for folks to look over, contact Becky at

Hope to see everyone on June 9!

For planning purposes, it would be helpful if you send me an email that you plan to come ( If you can't attend but would like to send a congrats/thank-you/etc note or a favorite Fiddle Club anecdote then we will compile them for the Archives.

Directions to 9200 Brink Rd. Gaithersburg, MD 20882 (301) 208-8285: Take I-270 North until Exit 16, Father Hurley Blvd. On the exit ramp bear right to go east on the Blvd. Stay on this road past the shopping centers on the right, cross Rte 355 and continue as the road bends to the left. After the curve, the next stoplight is Brink Rd, turn right. Go about 2.1 miles on Brink until you come to a 3-way stop. Turn left (this means staying on Brink) and go 0.7 mile, looking for Brink Ct (at the top of a hill) on the right. Go past Brink Ct and 9200 is the first driveway on the right. The driveway is steep uphill and the house is blue. Please park on the grass around the driveway circle (i.e. like spokes on a wheel) to allow more parking space.

Note: There is a piano available. We have a cat but it will be sequestered during the meeting. Please bring a chair, your love of Scottish music and a potluck dish to share.
